Questions

There have been a number of backers who have had questions post campaign closing, so we want to put your minds to rest and answer them here.

Add-ons : Forgot to add more money to your pledge for the add-ons? No worries, we've got you covered. Once the Pledge Manager opens in a few weeks, you will be able to add-on whatever you like. Need more decks? No problem! Need an extra set of those sweet dice? No problem! Want to add the PDF, more stickers, pins, dice bags, and/or the deck box? No problem! You'll be able to add to your hearts content.

Missed the Deadline?: A number you have reached out to us and were bummed that you missed the deadline. No worries! You still have 2 options to get on board. 

  • Once the Pledge Manager opens, you will be able to pre-order and get any rewards that were originally offered during the main campaign (except the Archmage pledge). 
  • In next few days we will be extending the campaign over to Indiegogo's InDemand platform. You will be able to pledge there as you did here on Kickstarter. We will let you know when that goes live.

Stretch Goals: Many of you reached out and really wanted that last stretch goal, the Gold Gilded Edges card upgrade. We've heard you, and we want it unlocked too! That's why we have extended the cutoff for all Stretch Goals until the Pledge Manager closes. This should give us at least another month or so to get that last Stretch Goal unlocked!

Social Media Stretch Goals: Many of your were bummed that we weren't able to unlock a lot of the Social Media stretch goals. You want that Kickstarter Exclusive Moebius Pin. You want those stickers. And you want those rule conversions. That's why, like the Stretch Goals, we have extended the cutoff for all Stretch Goals until the Pledge Manager closes.

Weekend Break

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up. I've been planning a little birthday weekend getaway for Mrs. MDG (Kim) for sometime now, We are headed into a remote part of the Rocky Mountains for the weekend, so we will have limited access to the internet until Sunday evening. Unless it's an emergency, we will won't be responding to any questions until after we get back.

Our Kickstarter campaign has officially ended!  

We can hardly find the words to say thank you, except to say THANK YOU!!  Here are some stats of what you all have achieved:

  • Our initial goal was $7,000 and you surpassed that by336%!
  • Funded in under 40 hours.
  •  718 of you have backed this project and, we do not say this lightly, we are truly humbled by that number.
  • You unlocked 17 stretch goals which includes:
  •                 10 free additional cards 
  •                 an add-on second set of dice, Mystic Storm
  •                 2 free additional stickers
  •                 an add-on soft enamel pin, Tankard of Truth
  •                 a FREE PDF poster of Moebius Spinn on his throne
  •                 a FREE PDF poster map of Moebius Spinn's birthplace
  •                 a FREE PDF one-shot adventure featuring Moebius Spinn 

Wow! 

And because all of the Archmage pledges were filled, everyone will get an additional 10 cards in their Moebius Deck of Wonders! That's 60 beautifully illustrated, tarot-sized cards, with a removable tuck box sleeve to preserve your deck and the increase the immersion factor in your games. We can't wait until you can see and feel the quality of these cards in person. 

But we don't want to stop there. Even though the Gold Gilded Edges stretch goal wasn't met, we are going to extend the Stretch Goals and the Social Media goals all the way out until the Pledge Manger closes! We know that is going to make a lot of you Pin and Sticker collectors VERY happy. Not to mention those of you wanting the rules converted into your favorite game system.

Plus, we want The Moebius Deck of Wonders to be the best version of itself. AND... We want you to get the most value for your buck as possible. 

So even after the campaign ends, continue to Share, Reweet, Watch, Follow, and Fan us to keep unlocking more MDG goodies.

What's Next?

After the campaign closes, it will take about 2 weeks for Kickstarter to process and collect your funds. Sometime after that, we will open up the BackerKit Pledge Manager for you to manage your pledge, purchase any additional items or add-ons, and provide us with a good shipping address. While all of this is going on, we will continue to work behind the scenes to get everything ready for manufacturing. 

As a reminder, everything that you purchase will be shipped directly to you from our fulfillment partner in China. The two exceptions to this are the Custom Dice Bags from Hoop & Loom and the Custom Deck boxes from Dog Might Games. Both of these items are handmade here in the US and will be shipped separately. If you happen to get both the dice bag and the deck box, these will be shipped together to save you money on shipping.

We are now in the last day of our campaign.  It feels a little surreal, to be honest, as we've been living and breathing this campaign since well before it started.  Not that things will end once it's done, because really, the end of the campaign is just the beginning of bringing our Moebius Deck of Wonders to you, our backers.   

To be honest, we are blown away by where we have landed at this stage.  You have exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled to announce that...

Another Stretch Goal Has Been Achieved!

Y'all!  We are pinching ourselves! You've now blown past our final stretch goal, and you know what that means...a FREE PDF One-Shot Adventure featuring Moebius Spinn!  We're excited about this one and we hope you are, too.

And now that we've blown past our final stretch goal...AGAIN.... guess what? It wasn't the final stretch goal!  We've decided to add one more.  How about some gold gilded edges for the Moebius Deck of Wonder?   

Managing Your Pledge

Some people have asked questions about add-ons and how to manage them, so we thought we'd give a little info on that 

  • Add-ons will be managed in the Pledge Manager that you will receive sometime after the campaign ends. We'll give even more info on that in an upcoming post, but for now you have the option of either adding more funds to your pledge now to cover the cost of any add-ons that you want, or you can pay for the add-ons separately in the Pledge Manager. 
  • To add funds now, just click on the [Manage Your Pledge] button at the top of the page and increase your pledge by the amount of the add-on item(s).  Please note, the dice bags and wood deck boxes will also have a separate shipping charge, due to being shipped from a separate location than the other items. Also, additional dice and decks may increase shipping costs as well. This will all be handled automatically in the Pledge Manager.
  • Your other option is to leave your pledge as it is now and pay for any additional add-on items once you receive the Pledge Manager. 
  • The most important thing for now is to verify that both your email address and mailing address are accurate in your Kickstarter pledge so that you won't miss any emails and that your items will arrive to you once they are shipped.

In the depths of the night, you all blew past another stretch goal!  Thank you!!  We are so excited to be able to offer a 16x20 digital PDF poster of Spinn's birthplace FOR FREE!  You can save it to your computer or even have it printed and hang it up!  See below for all of the fabulous stretch goals that have been unlocked, including the newest PDF poster. 

There are still 39 hours left to unlock the last stretch goal, a free PDF one-shot adventure including our very own Moebius Spinn.  We still have some work to do on that one, so come and give us more work to do!

It's still a work in progress, but we were eager to share the latest version.

Forum

We are both humbled and very thankful for the tremendous response we've gotten from the community. Many of you have shared your ideas for the cards and the deck itself, and this is exactly what we hoped you would do. We've been working hard behind the scenes to get our Forum up on our website so you guys can freely share your ideas there. We were hoping to have it up sooner, but this wound up being a bit more complicated and time consuming than we initially expected. Having said that, we think we are close to having it go live this coming week. We will keep you posted when it does,
